The system of higher education in the Czech Republic has three stages: bachelor’s, master’s and doctor’s degree. What does a foreigner who wants to get a bachelor’s degree in the Czech Republic need to know?
Who can apply for undergraduate programs?
Any foreigner who has completed secondary education and has the relevant document, a secondary or technical school certificate or diploma, can enter a Czech university. The general rule is that if your certificate or diploma allows you to enter a university in your country, the Czech Republic recognizes this right of you as well. The procedure of recognizing your education document is called nostrification, you can read more about it here. Within the framework of the preparatory courses at Charles University, we help you with the bureaucratic issues of nostrification process.
How much do studies for a bachelor’s degree cost?
There are two possible answers to this question.
